The Fifth Element Diva Maiwenn Le BescoĪs mentioned above the audience for the Diva’s performance also has amazing hairstyles throughout. The actual singing was done by Albanian soprano Inva Mula-Tchako… simply awesome. …and if not for the costume style then she should be noted for her amazing performance in the movie. even though she doesn’t really have hair, I think it’s close enough to an alien ‘hairstyle’ to fit in this post. I have to mention the blue Diva (Plavalaguna – character name). Put it all together, and I think it pulled off her look and feel for the character of Leeloo quite nicely. The short bangs gave her a more cute feel. I like it, gave it more of a hardcore look than just leaving it natural. Back to the hair… it seems like for most of the movie that it had an almost dreaded look like is was twisted in clumps with some wax. The awesome bright orange with blond roots color… the orange and white color scheme that runs throughout the movie makes me think someone was a UT or Syracuse fan. Obviously the hairstyle that everyone remembers from The Fifth Element is Leeloo’s ( Milla Jovovich) hair. Ok, is it’s been forever since The Fifth Element came out in 1997(gasp), but it’s still a great movie! And of course it’s got so many great hairstyles, gotta give a hand to the costume/makeup/hairstylists for the movie for doing a fabulous job! Just as an example look at the scene where the Diva (Maiwenn Le Besco) sings the techno-opera and really look around at the audience in the background, there’s more awesome hairstyles just in that scene than in most entire movies. ![]()
